1) In these step you have to write down that number like i have to find square of 16
So write these like given below

2) In second step you have to find square of unit place digit like above e.g. is of square of 16 so unit place digit is 6 so find square of unit place digit i.e. 6 is 36
And write unit place digit of 36 like 6 in your ans and take 3 as in your hand
E.g. 3

Ans. __6
You have to write like these ok 3 on top and 6 on your ans.
3) In third step you have to cross multiply the digit of unit place to tenth place like given below
E.g. here is 16
So unit place digit is 6 and tenth place digit is 1 so i multiply the so i will get 6×1 = 6
And the 6 is and then twice the answer like answer is 6 and it's twice is 6×2=12
And add 3 of 36 means your ans is 12+3= 15
Take 5 as your theth place digit of your ans
So your ans has _56
And last step is to find third digit
3) For to find third digit you have to twice thenth place digit of your question like question is square of 16 so thenth place digit is 1 and twice of one is one but we have 1 of 15 also so we have to add that 1 of 15 (in above step we get 15 5 is 2nd digit of and and 1 is used to find 3rd digit)
So 1+1=2
So we have a answer
16×16=256
